Volunteer Recognition

Each year Shepeard Blood Center recognizes the contributions of our volunteers in several ways:

In April, the blood center hosts an annual awards luncheon where volunteers receive plaques and certificates of recognition based on hours and years of service. Volunteers enjoy this time to socialize with one another and recognize their achievements for the past year.

In October, the blood center hosts a Halloween Luncheon to celebrate the volunteers. There are no awards at this luncheon, but there is plenty of fun and lots of prizes!

We appreciate each of our volunteer’s efforts to help us ensure that there is a sufficient blood supply.
